Do you have a store in my city?

Understated Leather does not have any physical retail locations. If you'd like to know where Understated Leather is stocked, please click here.

I live in Austin, can I come and try your product on before I make a purchase?

While we love our fellow Austinites, at this time we’re unable to accommodate any visits to Understated Leather headquarters. Feel free to email us with any sizing or style questions before purchasing- we’re always here to help! Additionally, you can find a few select styles at Maufrais on South Congress. 

 

Ordering & Payment

An item I want to purchase is out of stock, will you be getting any more?

We do our best to keep our website fully stocked, but if an item you want is sold out, please shoot us an email at Hello@UnderstatedLeather.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request!

When will I be charged for my order?

The order goes through as full payment on the credit card at the time the order is placed.

What does it mean to place a pre-order?

Pre-orders are orders for items that are not currently in stock, but that are expected to be available for purchase at a later date. If you submit a pre-order, the item will be reserved for you and mailed out to you as soon as the shipment reaches us.

 Can I cancel my order after placing it? We're not able to make any changes to your order, but you do have a one hour window to cancel before it begins processing.

 

International

What will my total be in another currency?

In the upper right corner of our website, you will find a drop down menu that says “USD”. Click this drop down menu to select the currency of your choice and our site will convert our prices from US dollars automatically.

How much will I be charged for duties and taxes?

We currently do not calculate duties & taxes for international orders for customers. However, if you’d like an estimate, we recommend taking a look at this duty & tax calculator to give you an idea.

 

Shipping Information

I placed an order and received an order confirmation, but have yet to receive any tracking. Can you help me find my package?

Many times our tracking emails get sent to the Junk or Spam folder, so we recommend taking a look there first. If you cannot find a tracking email, please send us an email and we will be happy to look into it. It's also good to double check if you ordered an item that is up for presale. 

When will my order arrive?

Orders typically ship from our warehouse within 48 hours excluding weekends and holidays and excluding any custom items. Please allow extra ship time during sale periods or holiday seasons.

US orders are shipped with UPS Ground from Austin,Texas and will take 2 - 5 working days for delivery depending on the state. 

International orders shipped with UPS Worldwide Expedited should arrive within 3 - 6 business days.

What is your return/exchange policy?

Do you offer free returns?

Currently, we do not offer free returns. The shipping of a return is at the expense of the customer. For more information on returns, refer to our return policy here.

 

Sizing & Styles

What size should I purchase?

Each item on our website contains a detailed size guide, which breaks down the measurements of all of our pieces. We recommend taking your own measurements of your body & a jacket you already own that you love the fit of, to compare to the measurements of our product. In general, our XXS fits a 0, S fits a 2-4, M fits a 6, L fits an 8. Most of our jacket styles are created from our Easy Rider style. If you’re between sizes, or are still unsure about which size to purchase, please send us an email and we’ll help you figure it out.

I want to purchase a custom piece, can you give me more information?

We do not offer custom pieces at this time.

 

FYI: We love the weekend as much as you do, so any emails sent after 5PM CST on Fridays will be responded to first thing Monday morning.
