This style true to size with a flexible elasticated waistband.

We recommend regular age sizing, may run slightly large. 

Model girl, Story (4yrs) wears her true size (4-5yrs).

Model boy, Sway (7yrs) wears size (6-7yrs), however he is VERY tall and typically wears (8-9 yrs). The length of the jean will look longer on a child of standard height. Sway is a much taller than other kids his age.
